Refund policy

When we give money back, how to ask, and how long it takes.

In effect from 30 August 2026.

The short version

If Ergira is not right for you, tell us within 30 days of your first payment and we will refund it in full. You do not have to give a reason, and you do not have to argue with anybody.

Start free instead of asking for money back

Every plan is the whole product, and the free plan has no time limit. You can run a real organisation on it — leave, records, work, invoices — and decide whether it suits you before paying anything. We would rather you did that than pay for something you have not used.

Within 30 days of your first payment

A full refund, on request, no reason needed. Email [email protected] from the address on the account, or reply to the receipt you were sent.

After 30 days

We do not automatically refund a period you have already used, because you had the service for it. We will refund where:

  • you were charged after cancelling, or charged twice for the same period;
  • a fault on our side made the service unusable for a meaningful part of the period, and we could not fix it;
  • you were charged for a plan you did not choose.

Anywhere else, ask. We would rather refund somebody who feels badly treated than keep the money and lose them.

Cancelling, which is not the same as a refund

Cancelling stops the next payment. It takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, and you keep full access until then — we do not cut you off the moment you cancel.

Your data is not deleted when you cancel. The account falls back to the free plan and keeps its records; anything above the free plan’s limits becomes read-only. This matters because the service holds employment records you may be legally required to keep.

You can cancel from inside Ergira, on the billing page, which opens the billing portal where your invoices and your card are also kept.

Who actually issues the refund

Paid subscriptions are sold and billed by our affiliate Likotech Software, which is the merchant of record for those charges and which appears on your statement as LIKOTECH. It took the payment, so it is what issues the refund — but you do not need to contact it separately. Ask us and we arrange it.

Refunds go back to the payment method you used and are processed within 14 days of being approved. How long it then takes to appear is up to your bank, and is usually a few working days.

Consumer rights

If you are a consumer in the UK, the EEA or another jurisdiction with a statutory cooling-off period, that right applies in addition to this policy and nothing here reduces it.

Asking

Email [email protected] with the email address on the account and, if you have it, the invoice number. We answer refund requests within two working days.

The rest of the agreement is in our terms of service.
