Plans and billing
What the tiers differ by — and, deliberately, what they do not.
Every tier is the whole product
Tiers differ by scale (seats, legal entities) and span (countries), never by capability. Single sign-on, directory provisioning, contracts, signing, performance and reporting are on every plan including the free one. There is a test asserting the plan definitions carry no feature flags; if one is ever added, that is where the argument has to be had.
What a seat is
A seat is a member — somebody with a login. Workers without one are free, because charging for records penalises exactly the HR completeness the product exists for. A warehouse of two hundred people who never sign in costs nothing in seats.
Limits and downgrades
- Limits are enforced at creation, never as a sweep that revokes. A downgrade makes anything over the limit read-only; it destroys nothing.
- An overdue payment still entitles. A failed card is retried for days, and cutting off an HR system meanwhile locks people out of their own leave balances over an accounting error.
- Below the top tier, the billing country must match every legal entity's country, because regional pricing is set from purchasing power.
Payments are handled by a merchant of record. No card, address or tax number is stored here.
